Hi friends! My name is Jessica Nealious and I'm extremely excited to make Flour and Chalk a part of the blogging world. This blog is my way of sharing my classroom and baking happenings with everyone.
It's hard for me to believe that I've been teaching six years. I guess its true that time flies when you are having fun. I've enjoyed teaching third grade for the past six years and love integrating the Scholastic System 44 program with my students.
Baking has always been a love of mine but was put on the back burner when I moved to Charleston. Baking dozens(probably hundreds) of cupcakes for a football team reignited my love for baking. Baking cupcakes excite me but I'm looking forward to exploring the world of cake.
I look forward to sharing and learning from the many bloggers that inspired me to join them. :-)
